This page outlines the core principles I follow when working with clients. They help align expectations in advance, plan timelines and budgets properly, and avoid unnecessary stress or misunderstandings.
If these rules suit you, it will be much easier for us to agree on the details of a specific project.
I do not take on projects in the “needed yesterday” format. Project timelines are discussed in advance and fixed in correspondence and/or the technical specification.
If deadlines shift due to the client’s actions (delayed materials, long approval cycles, or long project pauses), the work schedule may be revised. Returning to long-frozen projects is discussed separately.
Priority is always given to tasks agreed upon in the original technical specification. Anything outside the scope is handled after the main phase or treated as a separate stage.
I do not estimate project costs blindly. To provide a reasonable budget, I need initial input: project type, goals, structure, and references. For this, simply fill out the order form and briefly describe your task.
There are two main estimation approaches:
To keep the budget reasonable, I prefer working online: messaging, voice notes, and calls. Regular meetings or long phone calls should be considered in advance.
Work is carried out on a prepayment basis. Typically, this is 50–70% of the agreed project cost, depending on complexity and scope.
The remaining amount is paid after the main work is completed, before final delivery and access transfer.
During development, a draft version of the website may be published on a technical URL. This allows you to see progress live and provide feedback during the process.
It is best to collect changes and feedback in a list — this keeps communication clear and efficient.
What exactly is included in the final delivery (admin access, site archive, design source files, additional materials) is agreed in advance.
Full access and agreed materials are provided after full payment, unless otherwise agreed.
For any type of work — from minor fixes to full development — I need basic input: business type, website goals, and competitive advantages. This can be described in the order form or sent as a separate document.
If it’s difficult to define requirements at the start, I will suggest structure and solutions based on your business and examples.
Minor revisions within the approved scope usually fall within the project cost.
Major changes affecting structure, design, or layout are considered additional work and billed separately.
I do not inflate prices to later offer artificial discounts. Pricing is calculated transparently from the start.
Discounts are possible for long-term cooperation or complex projects and are discussed individually.
I work only when there is a single responsible contact on the client’s side who approves decisions.
If multiple stakeholders are involved, internal decisions should be consolidated before communication.
Priority is given to existing clients whose websites I have built or actively maintain.
Work on third-party or custom CMS projects is possible but discussed individually.
If you plan to manage the website yourself after launch, I can prepare a short guide or video instructions.
For AVE.CMS-based projects, a test copy of the website can be set up for training purposes.
If these principles work for you, simply fill out the order form or contact me using any method listed on the contacts page.
