Mon–Fri 11:00–19:00 Kyiv time:

How website creation starts. Key stages.

  1. Our work starts when you submit a website request via the start project form or contact us by e-mail. If you have any issues submitting a request, you can reach us by phone.
  2. We reply and ask the questions needed to form the website concept.
  3. Based on the information you provide, we prepare an offer: the project concept, timeline, and cost. If the website budget is up to 500 USD (or equivalent), at this stage we create a mockup and publish it online.
  4. A technical specification is prepared. Clients often try to skip this step, assuming it is a waste of time and that everything can be explained in words or clarified later. However, some changes trigger a chain of other changes and may be priced separately. When the specification is written (not “just discussed”), it becomes clear how many important details were missed. This step applies only to projects with a budget over 500 USD (or equivalent).
  5. All communication is handled via e-mail to avoid misunderstandings about what must be delivered. If something is discussed by phone, the client must confirm the task by e-mail, because written communication will be the deciding factor in case of disputes.
  6. For clarity, we build a mockup of the future website and publish it online so the client can request edits.
  7. If the client wants changes during the process, any edits and additions that significantly affect the original version are added to the technical specification as extra items. If the budget is up to 500 USD (or equivalent), edits are applied as long as they do not require major rework.
  8. The client pays an advance of 50% of the project cost. If the client pays 100% upfront, we provide a 10% discount.
  9. The client provides all required content for the website in digital form via the internet. If the content must be digitized or obtained in another way, the project budget may be revised.
  10. We work on the website structure, key navigation elements, and design.
  11. We install the content management system and required modules.
  12. The project is assembled on hosting where it is tested.
  13. The client reviews the project and sends notes and suggestions (if any). Notes that go beyond the technical specification are treated as additional work.
  14. If the notes relate to a template provided by the client (i.e., a template not designed by our studio), template fixes are not included and, depending on complexity, are billed additionally.
  15. The website is filled with the content provided by the client. Content upload is рассчитан/limited to up to 10 pages (for an e-commerce project, up to 20 products are added additionally). If the volume is larger, it is agreed separately. Content should be provided as described on this page.
  16. We apply changes and fixes. The scope of changes must stay within the technical specification (for projects up to 500 USD, edits may be minor). If changes are additional, the budget may be adjusted depending on complexity.
  17. After changes are applied, the website development is considered complete. The client pays for our services.
  18. Then the website is launched on the client’s domain. If the project budget is negative, the website is not launched on the client’s domain and all revisions are performed on a temporary address.
  19. To avoid errors and unfinished details, the website runs on our hosting for 1 month for free. After that, if the client does not need our support, the website is moved to the client’s hosting. If the client wants to move the website to their hosting immediately, further fixes are not performed. Exceptions are obvious development errors. Content work is not included.
  20. If the client keeps the website on our hosting and already has a domain name, we install the required tracking codes for Yandex and Google Analytics. After that, the work is considered complete.
  21. If there is no domain name, we can help you purchase one. If the client wants to host the website elsewhere, we assist with deployment or provide a backup (copy) of the website.

At this point, our work with the client does not end. If needed, we can provide support and maintenance as well as SEO and digital marketing.
